Case Study

Our Tampines Hub, Singapore

Bringing a vibrant community destination together with the architectural flexibility and clean lines of KingZip.

Our Tampines Hub is a major integrated community and lifestyle destination in Tampines, Singapore, designed by DP Architects. Bringing together a public library, swimming complex, retail spaces, public services and a 5,000-seat football stadium, the development creates a shared space for the local community.

The KingZip standing seam roofing system from Kingspan was selected to support the project’s expansive architectural design, combining a clean, linear aesthetic with the flexibility required for a large-scale, contemporary development.

Bringing together multiple community, recreational and public facilities under one extensive development called for a cohesive architectural approach. The roofing system needed to complement the building’s modern design while accommodating the scale and geometry of the overall structure.

KingZip SF standing seam roofing system provided the architectural flexibility to support the project’s design vision. Its distinctive linear profile creates a consistent visual rhythm across the roof, helping establish a unified appearance across the development.

Designed for architectural versatility, KingZip offers design possibilities that help architects realise complex roof forms while maintaining a refined, contemporary finish.

Our Tampines Hub demonstrates how a standing seam roofing system can contribute to the architectural identity of a large, multifunctional community development. KingZip’s clean lines complement the building’s contemporary aesthetic, supporting a cohesive roof design for a destination that brings together sport, recreation, retail and public services.
