Boston Logan International Airport

Iconic Design Meets Cutting-Edge Performance

This bold architectural statement was made possible with the KingZip standing seam roofing system, delivering exceptional weather resistance, durability, and sleek contemporary lines.

Boston Logan International Airport's Terminal E embarked on a striking modernization project, with Kingspan playing a key role in transforming the building envelope and roofing system. As part of the initiative to enhance both functionality and aesthetics, the terminal received a dramatic new visual identity featuring a prismatic, red-hued roof crafted from Kingspan’s high-performance KingZip SF panels.

At the heart of this transformation is the distinctive prismatic red roof - custom-manufactured by Kingspan in a vibrant “Boston Red” shade that uniquely shifts colors depending on the angle of sunlight. This bold architectural statement was made possible with the KingZip standing seam roofing system, delivering exceptional weather resistance, durability, and sleek contemporary lines.

Boston Logan’s Terminal E modernization sets a new standard for airport architecture - delivering standout visual appeal, long-term performance, and sustainability. Kingspan is proud to have supported this iconic project, demonstrating the transformative potential of innovative building envelope solutions.
